It was my first time I've gone there and in my experience the service could have been better but overall the staff was friendly. When I walked in I was greeted by staff and asked what I wanted to drink. She did not give me a menu nor told me I needed to scan a code to view a menu - which I do not like to do. I was served my coffee but was not offered creamer or sweetener. I had to ask after which I was given creamer right away in a fresh container. I know it seems petty but first impressions are exactly that. I ordered food and it came quickly. The food was very good. I had to kill some time so I stayed for quite a while and I met Avangelo (I think he is the owner). He was very personable and seemed like he enjoyed his job and greeting people. Overall a nice experience and the food was very good. Just a little hiccup on the service although not that big a deal.

All I have to say is....Just the Tip Get it.. it's amazing. So are the bottomless Mimosas and the stuffed French toast brunch! They have a great rewards program and open early and the owner is a great friendly guy and runs a tight place. Love the layout and having breakfast at the bar on weekends.

Best sandwiches in south OC!! With a Latin American twist. We ordered the Just the Tip mushroom sandwich and the Choriopan (Argentinian sausage). They both came on a delicious Franchese bread and had Serrano aioli on the side. The flavors were mind blowing and service was quick and friendly. They are also able to accommodate vegetarians and make substitutions which is really nice.

Everything here is delicious. I'm not even a vegetarian and the Hammered is F----ing delicious. Whatever is in that green sauce is in the same family as crack. All day, every day breakfast and unlimited mimosas? Yes.

The interior, the music, the customer service is great. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the vegetarian "Just The Tip" sandwich with the habanero sauce. I enjoyed dining in even though I ordered to go. I was also able to sample some of their draft beers.

I tried their banana pudding at a taste of lake forest festival back in 2019 and had been meaning to swing by for another taste of that delicious pudding ever since! The banana pudding is still the star of the show here - don't leave without getting some. I loved the decor and vibe inside- they also offer outdoor seating. It's a walk up to order counter where you're given a number and they'll bring your food out to you. We shared the - al horno and the chanco en cama sandwiches. The chanco en cama was a touch too spicy for me to consider it enjoyable, so I preferred the al horno. They have a spicy mayo sauce of sorts which is quite good.

I happened across Mamon after a visit to the doctor's which is in the same plaza. I am so glad that I stumbled here. Who knew such a hidden gem would be tucked away in this plaza? I ordered the sandwich called "There's an egg involved", and it was so delicious. The sauce that it came with complemented the sandwich perfectly, and the bread soaking up the egg yolk and the juices from the tri-tip made each bite a beautiful symphony of flavors. The veggies that were in the sandwich cut the fat so perfectly, and I can honestly just say that this was a perfect sandwich. The lady at the register was also very kind and helpful with my questions about the menu items. I enjoyed eating my meal at the establishment, as there are numerous tables spread throughout. I will 100% be back to try different items on the menu in the future!

The menu is quite simple, but it's also quite delicious. I've tried a few sandwiches but my favorite and the go to staple in my household now is the "There's an egg involved". It's a roasted tri tip sandwich that is to die for. Honestly, egg and tri tip? Winning combo no matter what you do. But what makes Mamon special is that serrano pepper mayo sauce. That sauce just holds everything together and adds a little kick (but not too much) and more richness to really bring out the flavors of the tri tip. But don't worry - it's not too rich as the acid from the tomatoes cuts out too much richness. Overall, it's a perfect sandwich, and quite a messy one - don't forget to nab some extra napkins, because trust me, you'll need it. The only downside I have with the sandwich order is that it doesn't come with anything but just the sandwich itself. It would be nice if it also came with a side. The other bonus about Mamon is that it's part of the Lake Forest gift card program! Which means you're basically getting their food for 50% off!
